Four Ways Your Gift Helps
- A child hears a live chorus for the first time. There's nothing like hearing many voices become one, live and in the room. Our family concerts invite young listeners into the music with clear explanations, hands-on moments, and plenty of fun.
- Someone discovers that classical music belongs to them, too. Great music doesn't need to be simplified to be welcoming. It just needs a good invitation. With context, curiosity, and a warm welcome, first-time listeners hear great works with fresh ears. All you need is a willingness to listen.
- A young conductor steps onto the podium and launches a career. For more than a decade, we've partnered with the University of Miami's Frost School of Music to provide a scholarship for an outstanding doctoral student in choral conducting to serve as our Assistant Conductor. Michael Colavita has held the role since January 2026, and he sings tenor in our chorus, too. Meet Michael.
- A new singer walks into an audition and finds a home in our ensemble. Our chorus brings together experienced volunteer and professional singers who pursue musical excellence together. For many, one audition is the start of a new musical home. Read how tenor Marco Massari found his place.
